Review StudyWorld 2009
StudyWorld 2009, 4th International Fair for Higher and Continuing Education, took place from May 15 – 16, 2009. The two-day event welcomed 9,643 visitors to Berlin’s Russisches Haus der Wissenschaft und Kultur, who took advantage of the opportunity to gather information about Bachelor’s and Master’s courses around the world as well as international internship programmes.
This year, 178 universities and providers of continuing education from 29 countries presented their programmes and services (the 2008 figures were 159 exhibitors and 25 countries respectively).
Moreover, StudyWorld exhibitors and trade visitors took advantage of an ideal opportunity to enhance their international networking.
The seminar programme, which attracted more than 2,700 visitors to 66 informative talks, proved to be one of the highlights of StudyWorld 2009. Expert speakers presented a wealth of information on studying at German and foreign universities, overseas internships and funding sources, and they also gave students tips on planning both their university and professional careers.
